The Sunrise Reset
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
We step outside before sunrise to cool off the tension, listen to the birds, and remember how fast life can change when we hand it back to God. We share a three-month turnaround from unemployment and fear into health, momentum, and gratitude, then close with prayer and quiet praise.
• stepping out of a man-made box into nature as real-time therapy
• a testimony of going from unemployed and worried to thriving at a new job
• confession and forgiveness as a daily practice of freedom and truth
• planning to call someone and give away $200 cash to the person who needs it
• working on a new book and building consistent creative habits
• nootropic coffee, L-theanine, and magnesium as a simple energy and sleep routine
• dropping expectations and choosing to look for the good in people
• ending with prayer, gratitude, and a calm morning reset
A Salute To The Misfits
SPEAKER_00It is to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the ones who see the world differently, who don't fit neatly into boxes, and refuse to live by someone else's script. You can quote them, you can disagree with them, you can glorify them, or vilify them, you can shake your head at their ideas or be inspired by their courage. But the one thing you cannot do is ignore them. Because they change things. They disrupt what's comfortable, they challenge what's normal, and they push the human race forward. Sometimes with loud revolutions, sometimes with quiet persistence that changes everything over time. They see possibility where others see limits. They dare to dream out loud when the world tells them to be silent. They take risks, they stumble, they rise again, and they keep going. Not because it's easy, but because they can't imagine doing anything else. These are the ones who remind us that every great leap forward was once considered impossible. So here's to them: the ones who won't sit down, won't be quiet, and won't stop until the world is different, because they're the reason it will be.

Welcome To An Early Morning Walk
SPEAKER_04Hello, we would like to welcome you to the Food for Thought Facecast with my husband, your host, B-Rob. So without further ado, here's B Rob.
SPEAKER_02Man, it's a beautiful day. Beautiful morning, that is. It ain't day actually. The sun has not even come out yet. Hey guys, it's B Rob. Case you didn't know. A little tension inside the house, so I figured I'd walk outside and it's amazing what nature can do. Because God created it, right? Inside that uh house, everything is man-made. It's a box we put ourselves in. It's amazing what kind of therapy happens when you simply walk out the door. I mean, listen to that choir. God is good. God is so good.
A Three Month Turnaround Testimony
SPEAKER_02Let me tell you how good God is. Three months ago I was unemployed. Three months ago I was wondering if I was going to lose my house. Three months ago, a lot of things were happening. I was at my lowest weight, I think I'd ever been as an adult. It wasn't that I was unhealthy. It was that God had stripped everything that happened to me for the past 35, 40 years. Wow. Here I am three months later. I'm uh one of the top performers at my new job. All glory to God and obedience to God. And um I'm pretty sure I'm healthier than I have been since I was a teenager. And man, that's a testimony of God's God's amazing grace. And it was just simply laying down everything to him. You know?
Confession, The Hospital, And Grace
SPEAKER_02The verse of the day. It says, if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just, and he will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. Man, when I went in that hospital back in October last year, yeah, I begged and I plead and I yeah. It was wild, man. This wild what life can do, man. It is wild. Food for thought early morning Saturday. That's for sure. And I'm rambling, and that's okay. Because maybe we're gonna ramble this podcast.
Following The Spirit To Bless Someone
SPEAKER_02We're gonna call somebody in a little while though and give away $200 cash. They probably won't answer the phone because of all the spam and fraud calls that that happened, but you know, we're gonna see the spirit lead us to that one person who needs that $200, and um just like the spirit has led me to every house that I went to this week that needed life insurance and every family. That's why my life is simply amazing right now. It's hard to explain. Oh, the street lamp went went off. That means the sun is peeking over the corner. Yeah, gotta love it. The sunrise on a Saturday. Oh, Saturday. Is that like Saturday? All these pagan names. Hmm.
Nootropic Coffee And Nighttime Sleep Stack
SPEAKER_02Anyway, but I'm uh working on a book. Yep, I'm working on a new book, so uh that should be cool. And um we're gonna talk a little more soon. I'm gonna enjoy this sunrise and the rest of my mojo coffee, which you can get on my website. This mojo coffee is amazing because I only need one cup and it lasts me all day. I might crash out about 9 p.m. every night, but that's a lot. I usually, I mean it depends. I went to bed at 9 last night, but the night before that is around 10.30. Usually about 9 to 10, 10.30, I crash out. But I don't drink any other caffeine all day long. I drink this one cup of mojo in the morning. It's a nootropic coffee. It has L-theanine and green tea caffeine, which the L-theanine is uh makes you feel good. Um good mood, kind of like a antidepressant. And then um I don't know if I can say that, but it don't matter, it's my podcast. I can say what I want. Um, freedom of speech, baby. Um L-theanine, and what it does is it like knocks the edge off from the caffeine and it drags it out all day long. So it's great. And I take another L-theanine with my uh magnesium at night before I go to bed, and that helped me sleep a little bit, you know what I'm saying? A little food for thought for you today on the podcast, on the Faith Cast. Because we ain't in no pod, but we got lots of faith, you know what I'm saying?
Stop Expecting And Look For Good
SPEAKER_02So just remember every time you expect you get let down. So uh, like John uh, I can't remember his name, it's either Robert or John Maxwell, in 25 Ways to Win with people, um always look at the good in people. Always look at the good in people. He said uh you won't get disappointed as much. He said you're gonna get disappointed, but it's gonna be more of a small percentage. So if you or if you're a numbers person and you want uh a big po a big percentage of your life to be um positive, then look at the good or look for the good in everybody. Because um, if that's a small percentage, that's a good thing. But if you're constantly looking at people in a negative light, then obviously that's gonna be reflected back on you. You know? We'll talk about that and frequency and energy in another podcast. But um, guys, I love you. It's a beautiful morning, and I'm gonna enjoy the rest of it. So I'm gonna let y'all listen to the uh the choir while I uh pray.
Prayer With The Morning Choir
SPEAKER_02Thank you, Lord, for this breath of fresh air, Lord. Thank you for this morning. Thank you for this opportunity to breathe again and enjoy your beauty. Your kingdom that you created for us, Lord. Thank you, Lord, for the birds. And the dogs and the kitty cats, Lord.
unknownThank you, Jesus.
SPEAKER_02Thank you, Father, for your grace. We pray these things in uh Jesus, holy, heavenly, matchless name. Amen and hallelujah.
A Quiet Moment Of Praise
SPEAKER_02Well, guys, that was amazing. I was praying and had a bird come laying right here, and uh stayed for a minute, flapped his wing a couple times, and flew off. God of wonders beyond our galaxy. You are who I can't sing real loud. I got neighbors and stuff, and they still asleep. Or else I'd be built in that out. But come about seven forty-five, eight. Oh yeah, the praise worship music gonna be on. Man, the birds are amazing this morning. Praise Jesus. Such a beautiful, beautiful, beautiful day.
