Why Waiting Becomes The Blessing
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
We wrestle with divine timing and the pressure to demand instant answers in an instant world. We remind ourselves that God’s delay can protect us, build our character, and prepare us to carry what we keep praying for.
• impatience as a spiritual trap in a dopamine-driven culture
• silence misread as abandonment and fear taking over
• God’s delay as protection and character development
• Isaiah 40 and strength for those who wait
• “slow cooking” blessings that need time to mature
• Galatians 5 and the war between flesh and Spirit
• roots before fruits and the hidden foundation season
• delay not denial and God seeing the whole book
• Abraham and Ishmael as the cost of forcing timing
• Joseph’s long road from dream to leadership
• Romans 8:28-29 and transformation over comfort
• Jesus embracing process and preparation
• Daniel’s delayed manifestation and unseen spiritual warfare
• prayer, Scripture, and worship as daily recharging

A Salute To The Misfits
SPEAKER_00It is for the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the ones who see the world differently, who don't fit neatly into boxes, and refuse to live by someone else's script. You can quote them, you can disagree with them, you can glorify them, or vilify them, you can shake your head at their ideas, or be inspired by their courage. But the one thing you cannot do is ignore them. Because they change things. They disrupt what's comfortable, they challenge what's normal, and they push the human race forward. Sometimes with loud revolutions, sometimes with quiet persistence that changes everything over time. They see possibility when others see limits. They tend to dream out loud when the world tells them to be silent. They take risks, they stumble, they rise again, and they keep going. Not because it's easy, but because they can't imagine doing anything else. These are the ones who remind us that every great leap forward was once considered impossible. So here's to them: the ones who won't sit down, won't be quiet, and won't stop until the world is different.

Divine Timing Why Waiting Blesses
SPEAKER_04So without further ado, here's hey guys, it's B-Robb.
SPEAKER_02It is the Food for Thought Faith Cast, man. I'm glad you could join us today. It's a beautiful day. It's um not too hot out. It's been raining for a couple days, but it's a beautiful day nonetheless because God gave it to you, and you are here, and we are breathing, and we are going to get in the word, and we're gonna be talking about something. We're gonna be talking about divine timing. Divine timing. Why the wait becomes the blessing. You know what I'm saying? And we're so impatient. We're so impatient. Today's society, I mean, we've got Amazon can deliver a package within twenty-four. A lot of times they can do it overnight now. But you see, sometimes God might take twenty-four years, fifty-one years. You never know, forty years. But this generation we live in now, we're trained, we're programmed for things like instant dopamine. We want our answers now, we want our validation now, we want instant relationships on the telephone. We want instant success without working towards it. We refresh our notifications every thirty seconds, but get frustrated when heaven feels like it's silent for three months. You know the dangerous part of that? The dangerous part of that is we start we start getting in our head. We start thinking things, that fear, that false evidence that appears real. We start thinking things like silence means abandonment. But let me ask you a question. What if God's delay is actually protecting you? What if the waiting room is where your character catches up to your calling? Because a lot of times the very thing you're praying for is already prepared for you. But you're not prepared to carry it yet.
Isaiah 40 And Renewed Strength
SPEAKER_02If you look at Isaiah chapter forty, look at Isaiah chapter forty. I'm gonna read starting at verse twenty eight. Do you not know, have you not heard, the Lord is the everlasting God, the creator of the ends of the earth? He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can father. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and a young man stumbles and fall. But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on the wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Hmm. You notice one thing it doesn't say? It does not say those who rush ahead. But it says those who wait. Those who hope hold on, pain ends. Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. You see, a microwave can heat food fast, but a crock pot or a smoker just changes the texture completely. You see, some blessings require slow cooking. Some blessings require slow cooking. They really do.
Flesh Versus Spirit In Waiting
SPEAKER_02And if you turn your Bible to Galatians chapter five, we'll start at 13. You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free, but do not use your freedom to indulge in the flesh, rather than serve one another humbly in love. For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command. Love your neighbor as yourself. If you bite and devour each other, watch out, and you will be destroyed by each other. So I say, walk in by the spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the flesh desires what is contrary to the spirit, and the spirit is what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want. But if you are led by the spirit, you are not under the law. What's he talking about here? I mean, acts of the flesh are obvious. He's talking about sexual immortality, impurity, debauchery, idolatry, witchcraft. It's very clear. But you see, there's a war happening. There's a war going on, there's a spiritual war. Because you're programmed, your emotions are programmed to say now. But the wisdom of the word of God says to wait. The culture says to manifest it. Let's go, do it now. But the word of God says to surrender it. You see, the flesh hates the process. God wants you to trust the process. You see, the flesh wants muscles without training, it wants wisdom without suffering, it wants influence without responsibility, and it wants anointing without obedience. But God develops the roots before the fruits. That's a fact. Look at Luke chapter eight, the parable of the sower. You see? It makes sense. The parable of the sower. Because fast growth without depth and no roots leads to collapse. You see a skyscraper, you can't see underground, but before it was ever constructed, there were months of foundation. There were no visible process whatsoever. Progress. My bad. I can't even read my own writing. And then people walk by and they say nothing is happening. Just like right now. They say nothing is happening because the news tells us that. Well, guess what? The news is programmed. But I'm here to tell you: the higher the calling you have with God, the deeper the foundation must be. Delay is not denial. God is not operating on a panic button. The only people that are operating on a panic button are the ones that we create. We are the only ones operating on a panic button because we create the panic buttons. You see, God sees the future. He can see the people connected to your destiny. He can see the roadblocks ahead. He can see the actual timing of your opportunities. And he can also see what those opportunities would do to you right now that you're not ready. You see, we see one chapter, we see today, we see right now. He sees the whole book. And
Abraham Joseph And Rerouted Paths
SPEAKER_02if you want to know the danger of forcing time, just look at Genesis 15 and 16. Because God promised Abraham a son, but Sarah was tired of waiting, and the waiting became uncomfortable. So Abraham and Sarah created Ishmael through their own human effort. You know the story. Go read it. And the funny thing about that one is that humanity is still dealing with the consequences of their impatient today. And the truth of that is when you force what God told you to trust him with, you create unnecessary spiritual warfare. Because a lot of times we open doors or we try to open doors with crowbars, but God never gave us the keys to those doors. Another example is Joseph. In Genesis, he had that dream, and he went and told everybody. And how did that go for him? That process took years. First became betrayal, then isolation, then false accusations, and then even prison. All before the palace. I mean, can you imagine how he felt? Like, God, um, yeah, uh I love you and all, but why am I going backwards? But you see that, you see, the father was building him. The father was building leadership, humility, endurance, and wisdom. The prison wasn't just punishment, it was preparation. Look at modern times. If a GPS reroutes you, does it mean you're lost? If you miss a turn, does it mean you lost? It just rerouted you, right? You didn't lose the destination, right?
Comfort Is Not The Goal
SPEAKER_02I mean, people quote Romans verse eight, twenty-eight all the time. And we know for that in all things God works for good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose, but for those God foreknew, he also predestined to confirm to the image of his son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. You see, all things work together for good. It's constantly quoted. In twenty-nine he says, to be conformed to the image of his son. You see, the goal was never to conf comf comfort you, the goal was to transform you. And God uses delays, he uses heartbreaks, silence, closed doors, seasons in the wilderness. He uses all those things to shape you. I mean, think about something. Yeshua himself waited. He was teaching in the temple at twelve, carrying divine purpose. He was sinless, spotless. Yet his public ministry did not begin until thirty. A child prodigy. Eighteen years of preparation. Eighteen years of preparation. In Luke two, fifty-two, it said Jesus even increased in wisdom and stature in the favor of God and man. You see, even Jesus, the Son of God, embraced process. That destroys any lie that you may have about seasons that people don't see. Or what you think is a forgotten season. Because sometimes the very weight is spiritual warfare. Sometimes the very weight is spiritual warfare. Even
Spiritual Warfare And Recharging Faith
SPEAKER_02Daniel prayed. Heaven answered immediately. But the manifestation was delayed by the Holy Spirit, by spiritual warfare. Because delayed answers are not always ignored prayers. Sometimes there are battles that are taking place that you can't see. That's why discernment matters. You see, the enemy tries to divide and conquer and kill and steal and destroy. He wants discouragement. He wants you to be confused. He wants you to be exhausted. He wants you to feel hopeless, which leads to total self-destruction. Because you know, if he can make you quit in the hallway, in the four year, you'll never reach the door. I mean, look at modern society. People lose their minds when their Wi-Fi goes out. But they barely notice when their spiritual connection is weak. Because it's hard to hear heaven when you're constantly complaining and constantly consuming complaints and constantly consuming noise. Most people recharge their phone batteries every day, every night, but they run their spirit in low battery mode. Two percent. Let me tell you something right now. Prayer is charging your battery. Scripture is charging your battery, and worshiping is charging your battery. It's just like that GPS. You miss a turn, it doesn't scream at you. It just recalculates. It doesn't shame you, it just reroutes you. That is what the Father does. That is grace. That is real grace. So maybe the question, maybe the real question is not why is God making me wait? Maybe the real question is what is God trying to build in me while I wait? Because there's truth in the waiting. Waiting reveals trust. Waiting reveals any idols in the way. Waiting reveals. Any motives that might be in the way, any agendas, any priorities by evil. It also builds spiritual maturity while in the process. Because you see, if God gave it instantly, you might worship the blessing instead of the blesser. Ooh. That one kind of slaps you in the face, huh? You see, some doors are locked because your future stealth. You're still under construction, baby. That's why the door's locked. And then one day you'll look back and realize, man, that delay protected me. That moment of silence matured me. That moment in the wilderness introduced me to God in a way that I've never been before. In Ecclesiastes 3.11, he said, He has made everything beautiful in his time. In Proverbs 3, verses 5 and 6 it says, Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, but in all ways submit to him, and he will make your path straight. Psalms 27, 14, it says, simply wait on the Lord, be of good courage. Romans 12, 12 says, Be patient in tribulation, continuing instantly in prayer. Keep praying. With that said, let's go to the Lord in prayer.
Prayer And Final Challenge
SPEAKER_02Father God, we love you. We thank you. Lord, just teach us to trust your time, and even when we don't understand the process. Lord, please help us not to confuse any kind of delay with abandonment because we know that you would never abandon us, and that's the promise that you made, and you know, we know that you are a God of promises, Lord. Lord, please give us discernment in a world full of noise, deception, fear, and distraction. Please strengthen our spirit when our flesh becomes important, Lord. Lord, we ask that you teach us obedient in these seasons that nobody sees, the hidden ones. Lord, we ask that you build our character before you ever put us on stage. Lord, please just heal the parts of us that try to force doors open because of fear. Lord, we ask you that you bring the Holy Spirit every day to guide our decisions, calm our emotions, and remove our minds, renew our minds, Lord. Please, Lord, break anxiety, break confusion, hopelessness, anything negative that may form against us and remind us that no weapon formed against us shall prosper, and that the enemy is already defeated through the blood of your Son, Jesus Christ. We love you. And it's in your sons, holy, heavenly name of Yeshua Jesus Christ. Amen and hallelujah. Guys, thank you for tuning in today. If you like what you heard, please give us a share. Please visit our ministry website, w dot for Christ Ministry.com. And guys, maybe the reason the door hasn't opened yet is because God is still building a version of you that can walk through the door without even touching it. Burn it off the hinges. Maybe the waiting season is where you finally discover that God was always on time, God is always divine, God is never late, He is always great. He was just developing you the whole time. Guys, that's food for thought. My name is B. Robin. If you do not have a relationship with Christ, you better get right.
