We walk through the names of God and Yeshua to see how Scripture reveals God’s character, authority, and care for every season of life. We connect Old Testament names like Yahweh, Jehovah Jireh, El Roi, and Jehovah Rapha to the fulfillment found in Jesus as Savior, Emmanuel, Lamb of God, and King of Kings.
• why names in Scripture reveal identity, purpose, and authority
• Yahweh “I Am Who I Am” from Exodus 3 as God’s self-sufficient nature
• Jehovah Jireh as the Lord who provides and builds trust in the wait
• El Roi as the God who sees the rejected and overlooked
• Jehovah Rapha as the Lord who heals trauma, grief, anxiety, shame, and brokenness
• Yeshua as the Lord who saves and the mission in His very name
• Emmanuel as God with us in suffering and humanity
• Lamb of God as the final sacrifice pointing from Old Testament to Messiah
• King of Kings as steady authority when systems and leaders fail
• choosing which name to call on for your need today

Opening Reflection On The Misfits
SPEAKER_00It is to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the ones who see the world differently, who don't fit neatly into boxes, and refuse to live by someone else's script. You can quote them, you can disagree with them, you can glorify them or vilify them, you can shake your head at their ideas or be inspired by their courage. But the one thing you cannot do is ignore them. Because they change things. They disrupt what's comfortable, they challenge what's normal, and they push the human race forward. Sometimes with loud revolutions, sometimes with quiet persistence that changes everything over time. They see possibility where others see limits. They dare to dream out loud when the world tells them to be silent. They take risks, they stumble, they rise again, and they keep going. Not because it's easy, but because they can't imagine doing anything else. These are the ones who remind us that every great leap forward was once considered impossible. So here's to them: the ones who won't sit down, won't be quiet, and won't stop until the world is different. Because they're the reason it will be.

Calling The Name You Need
Zoom Invite Prayer And Closing
SPEAKER_02Hey guys, it's B-Rob. It's the Food for Thought Faye Cast, and it is Monday, April the 27th, and we have a new week, a new season this week, and we are alive, and um we're gonna walk in his name. We're gonna walk in his name this week, and uh there's power in that because there's power in his name. Um, we're gonna talk about understanding the names of God and Yeshua today. So I want to welcome you back to the Faith Cast, Faith Cast fam. It's a very deep, powerful subject because there are many names of God and many names of Yeshua and Jesus throughout Scripture, because Scripture was never casual, it was always on point, and names reveal identity, names reveal purpose, and names reveal authority. And when God reveals his names through scripture, he's showing us his character. You know, when um when scripture gives Yeshua and or Jesus different titles, it reveals his different missions to save humanity. And that is an amazing thing. That is an amazing thing. And um I'm hoping that somebody listening today needs to be reminded that whatever season you're in, whatever place you're in in your life, there is a name of God that meets your situation. So let's go to the Lord in prayer. Father God, we uh we come to you today. We just thank you for this beautiful day. We thank you for this beautiful opportunity. Um, we we pray that you open our hearts today, reveal yourself through your word, your living word. Let us not just hear your names, Lord, but let us encounter your character. We pray all these things in the name of Yeshua. Amen and hallelujah. Well, number one, guys, we're gonna look at the book of Exodus three, chapters thirteen through fifteen. The scripture says, Moses said to God, Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, The God of your fathers has sent me to you, and they asked me, What is his name? Then what shall I tell them? God said to Moses, I am who I am. And he said, Say this to the people of Israel. I am has sent me to you. God also said to Moses, Say this to the people of Israel. The Lord, the God of your fathers, has sent me to you. This is my name forever. Guys, God introduces himself right here, right now, as self-sufficient. It's it's almost got an arrogance to it, but he is God, so that is fine. It's almost got that tone like what you don't know, I am who I am. How dare you question me. But it's really a loving tone. Because God doesn't need validation, God doesn't need resources, he does not need help from us, he simply is God. Before your problem existed, he was I am. Before your pain existed, he was I am. Before any of your anxiety showed up, he was already I am. Let's go to Jehovah Jirah. This is Book of Genesis 22, 13 and 14. It means the Lord will provide. So Abraham called that place the Lord will provide. The point of this, God often waits until the final moment to reveal any kind of provision. Not because he forgot you, not because he missed, you know, he's putting you off to the side, not because he's, you know, you're in the doghouse or whatever. But because he wants you to trust him. You see, God does not come early, but he's never absent. He may not show up when you want him to show up, but he's never absent. Because God is an all-seeing God, which brings us to Elroy. Genesis 16, 13. She gave this name to the Lord who spoke to her. You are the God who sees me. Hagar was abandoned, rejected, overlooked. Yet God saw her. You may be overlooked. People may be overlooked. Family may overlook you. Leadership may overlook you for a role. But never forget that your heavenly father sees you. Which brings us to his next name, Jehovah Rapha, the Lord who heals. If you look at Exodus 15, 26, I am the Lord who heals you. The Lord who heals. What does he heal? Trauma, grief, anxiety, broken hearts, shame. He puts pieces back together. He makes marriages work that were once broken. He makes relationships work that were once broken. He makes bones come to life again. God heals what people can't even diagnose. God heals what people can't even diagnose. And all this from the Old Testament sets up the New Testament. It's the transition, it's the coming of the Messiah. Where those many names are fulfilled in Yeshua. And Yeshua means the Lord saves. If you look at Matthew 121, the scripture said, She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, Yeshua. For he will save his people from their sins. His literal name is his mission. He came to rescue, he came to redeem, he came to save. He is Emmanuel, he is God within us. Which is Matthew chapter one, twenty-two and twenty-three. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which means God with us. Guys, God did not stay distant. He entered human suffering. He entered our humanity. He entered our realm and became the next one, the Lamb of God. If you look at John 129, behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. The sacrifices of the Old Testament pointed towards the Messiah. That's why Yeshua became the final sacrifice, the Lamb of God that was slain for all humanity. Which makes him the King of Kings. If you look at Revelation 19, 16, on his robe and on his thigh, he has the name written, King of Kings and Lord of Lords. You see, guys, governments change, leaders fail, systems collapse. Everything in your life may take a U-turn. But Yeshua remains the king. God is still God. So which name do you need today? If you're struggling financially, maybe you need Jehovah Jirah. If you feel unseen, maybe you need El Roy. If you need healing, Jehovah Rapha. But if you need salvation, Yeshua. And if you feeling alone, Emmanuel. And if you need authority, you call him the King of Kings because the King of Kings is the King of Kings, and we talked about it right yesterday. He is not the king over one nation, he is the king over all creation. In Philippians chapter two, verses nine and eleven. Wow, nine and eleven. Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him a name above every name. That at the name of Yeshua, every knee shall bow in heaven and on earth and under the earth. And every tongue acknowledge that Yeshua, Messiah, is Lord. There is power in his name. Healing in his name. Salvation in his name. Freedom in his name. So whatever you're doing, whatever you're facing, whatever you're going through right now, call on his name. Call on his name. And if you don't have a relationship with Christ, you need to get right. So let's recap. Let's recap. The different names of God. Some that we haven't talked about, but I'm gonna go through them real quick. Yahweh means I am. Elohim means God. El Shaddai means God Almighty. ELIAN means most high God. Adonai means Lord and Master. Jehovah Jirah means the Lord provides. Jehovah Rapha means the Lord heals. And then El Roy or El Ro I, the God who sees me. And guys, if I murdered those pronunciations, I'm from Augusta, Georgia. Do not hold high standards to my pronunciations. So let's move to the Son. Let's move to the Redeemer. Let's move to Christ Jesus. Yeshua, Jesus Christ, the Lord saves. Messiah, Christ, Emmanuel with us, Son of God, Son of Man, Lamb of God. And my favorite, and those of you who know me know that I say this all the time. In my 30 years in the car business, this was my saying. They would pass me and they wouldn't say, hey, B-rob. They would say word. Because I would say word. They would say, hey man, I called that customer, he'll be in, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. I'd be like, word. And you know, I just found this out two days ago. That word is another word for Jesus Christ. Because Jesus Christ is the word, the living word of God. The gospels. So with that said, word. Jesus is also known as the King of Kings, the Prince of Peace, and the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. Guys, today's podcast has been fun. We have a podcast tonight with the Provision Project hosted by Nikita Koloff. It's not a podcast, I'm sorry. It is a Zoom call. And you are more than welcome to attend to see what we have going on. It should only take about 20 to 30 minutes. But if you do want a Zoom link, just text me, 706-267-1467, and just simply text Link. Or simply say, I need you to pray for me and tell me why. Or tell me unspoken. Either way, we will put you on that prayer list. And guys, prayer is important. And who you pray to is important. The names of God are important. I'm just now learning this. I pray for patience all the time. And apparently things keep happening to me because that's all I'm praying for. I did not know that. So today we're going to pray for prosperity. Today we're going to pray for financial blessings. Today we're going to pray for anointing on everyone who's listening live today, this week, this season, and we're going to do it in the name of the King of Kings, the Prince of Peace, the Son of God, the Son of Man, Yeshua Jesus, the Lord who saves. Amen and hallelujah. And with that said, guys, word. This episode is sponsored in part by Twitch. No excuses. No excuses.
