Weight Loss Testimony And Sponsorship
SPEAKER_02Hey guys, this is B-Robas Process Michael and Jumpy. At one point in my life, I weigh 265 pounds. That's like a half of a quarter of a ton. Lord have mercy. Recently, me and my body and my spirit, we had a little sit down, a little come to Jesus meeting, you know what I mean? Because in 1 Corinthians it says, Our bodies are the temples of the Holy Spirit whom we receive from God. Therefore, you should honor God with your bodies. That's why I teamed up with my good friend and spiritual mentor. You might have heard of him. He's an eight-time world champion wrestler by the name of Nikita Koloff. You know the Russian nightmare. Well, Nikita and I have teamed up with the good folks and trainer for some good advice, amazing health products, and great team and community. Your boy B-Rob is even down in the 170s for the first time in over 30 years, and I feel amazing. But we are working on a project we like to call the Provision Project to strengthen the body, fund the mission, and build the legacy. Mom and number more, visit www.trainot.com forward slash B-rob. That's trainot.com forward slash B-E-R-O-B.

SPEAKER_02Hey guys, it's B-Rob. Thank you for tuning in to the Faith Cast today. It's Monday, April 6th, and it was a big holy week, an emotional weekend. And what do you do with the Monday after? Well, you keep going, you keep going, you keep going because God is good and we do it all in the name of our Savior. Today, we just want to welcome you wherever you're listening from. You might be driving, you might be just sitting quietly with your Bible, or just trying to get your day started. I hope this podcast, I hope there's a message for you. Because today we're going to be talking about something powerful, something life-changing. We're going to be talking about in the name of Christ. And our foundation is going to come from Acts. We're going to look at chapter 3, verses 1 through 10 today. So if you've got your Bibles, let's begin by hearing the word of God. One day Peter and John were going up to the temple at a time of prayer. All three. From those going into the temple courts. When he saw Peter and John about to enter, he asked them for money. Peter looked straight at him as he did John. Then Peter said, Look at us. So the man gave them his attention, expecting to get something from them. But Peter said, Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Walk. Taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and instantly the man's feet and ankles became strong. He jumped to his feet and began to walk. Then he went with them into temple courts, walking and jumping and praising God. When all the people saw him and walking and praising God, they recognized him as the same man who used to sit begging at the temple gate called Beautiful. And they were filled with wonder and amazement at what happened to him. Picture this. Every single day, this man is carried to the same place. A gate named Beautiful. A grand entrance into the temple of God. It's stunning. It's impressive. It's full of people going into worship. But guys, his life was broken. It was limited. He was dependent. He was dependent on somebody to pick him up every day, carry him to the gate. I mean, he sits at the entrance of something beautiful, but never really experiences it. You see, you can be close to God's presence and still not experience God's power. This man wasn't asking for healing. He wasn't asking for any kind of transformation. He was asking for coins just enough to survive that day. And if we're honest, that's where a lot of us live. Our prayers are small. Our expectations of change is small. Because we settle for survival. We settle for this world. We settle for a world when God is offering transformation. The Bible says in Acts 3 2, now a man was lay from birth, was being carried where he was put every day to beg. This wasn't temporary. This wasn't recent. The guy never walked. His entire identity was shaped by limitation. He depended on other people just to get to the gate, just like I said. He depended on strangers just so he could eat. And here's what stands out. Here's what's ironic. He sat at a gate called beautiful. But there was nothing beautiful about his situation. But that's how brokenness works, guys. You can have a beautiful environment and still carry eternal, internal pain. You can be in the physical church and still feel stuck. You can be right in the middle of a worship service and still feel broken, wounded. Because a lot of people today are emotionally broken. A lot of people today are spiritually tired. A lot of people today are financially drained. A lot of people today are mentally overwhelmed. And like this man, you have learned to survive every single day being emotionally tired, being spiritually tired, being financially drained, and being mentally overwhelmed. But you never learn how to be free from it. People coming in, you're hearing about healing. But you never walk to the counter to register to receive it. Guys, proximity is not the same as transformation. But shift your focus. Shift your focus. Acts three, four. Peter looked straight at him as John as he did John. Then Peter said, look at us. He commanded him to look at us. That's powerful. Out of all the noise, out of all the people, out of all the movement, out of all the circus going around, Peter says, look at us. Why does he command that? Because where you place your attention determines what you receive. And I'm going to say that again. Because where you place your attention determines what you receive. The man had only been scanning crowds for money. But you see, now his attention is redirected. Acts three, five. So the man gave them his attention, expecting to get something from them. He didn't know what was coming. He was ready for some coins. But he was ready. And that matters the most. You want to know why? Because God often moves in a space of expectation. God often moves in a space of focus. You see, a lot of us miss what God is doing because we're looking at the wrong things. We're focused on the wrong things. We're focused on the world. We're focused on people. We're focused on paychecks. We're focused on problems. We are focused on pressure. The four Ps: people, paychecks, problems, pressure. And that's what we have our eyes fixed on. Instead of fixing our eyes on the one who actually has power to heal, to fix. In Acts 3, 6, Peter said, Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have, I give you. What I do have, I give you. That kind of sounds like bad news at first from somebody you don't know, right? You're expecting money. There's no money. You're expecting a help, maybe. There's no help. But then comes a shift. Then comes a shift. Then comes the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk. That's everything. You see, Peter says, I don't have what you're looking for, but I have what you need. He says that because money cannot support you, this world cannot transform you. Only the power in the name of Jesus can transform you. Money can buy crutches, but it cannot make lame legs walk. Guys, the world offers temporary solutions, distractions, substitutes, short-term relief. But Christ offers healing, freedom, salvation, new life, and it all comes through his name. It doesn't come through work, it doesn't come through effort, it doesn't come through status, it doesn't come through who you know. Maybe it does, but if you do not know the name of Jesus, if you do not know the authority in that name, if you do not know the healing power in that name, you don't know. You need to get right. In Acts 3:7, taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and instantly the man's feet and ankles became strong. Instantly, not gradually, not eventually, but instantly. That's the resurrection power. That's the same power that raised Jesus from the dead, and now it's flowing into this man's body. And then look at his response. He jumped to his feet and began to walk, walking and jumping and praising God. That's Acts 3:8. You see, that's not just recovery, that's overflow. He didn't just ease into it, he exploded into it. Because when Jesus changes your life, it is not subtle, it is undeniable. It's like plugging a dead phone into power and it comes back to life. The moment the connection is made, the power flows. And the moment your life connects with Jesus, the Savior, strength flows, joy flows, purpose flows. So, guys, don't just survive. Come alive. If you do not have a relationship with Jesus, you better get right. You see, now you have the impact. Now there's an impact. Because in Acts three, nine and ten, it says, When all the people saw him, they recognized him. You see, they knew him. It was the same man, the same face that sat at the gate, beautiful. But now his life is completely different. And their response, they were filled with wonder and amazement. You want to know why? Because real transformation is visible. You cannot argue with what you see, you cannot argue with a changed life. You can debate theology, but you cannot deny the testimony of the living God. And that's what God does. He transforms you. Not for you, but so others can see his glory through you. You see, your life becomes a living testimony. There's a big difference between a biography and a testimony. A biography is a story of yourself. It's a story of an individual. But a testimony is how God used the individual for his glory. How God uses that individual's life becomes the message. That individual's story becomes the sermon. And that individual's life change becomes evidence of the living God. Guys, the man showed up asking for coins and he walked away with a miracle. He just expected survival of that day, of that moment, but he encountered the resurrection. So, guys, I have some questions for you today. What are you asking God for? Are you asking for just enough to get by? Are you asking for just enough to survive? Or are you ready for the transformation? Are you just sitting at the gate? Or are you ready to walk in the gate? Are you fine shackled in chains, or are you ready for freedom? Today I want to challenge you. Lift your expectations, shift your focus, call on the name of the living God because what you need most, it's not more resources, it's not more money, it's not more physical things, it's not more personal status. It's more of the living God. So whatever area your life feels stuck in, hear this. Whatever area you have given up hope in, hear this. Whatever area that you need help in, hear this. In the name of Jesus Christ, rise up and walk. Not in your strength, not in your past, but in his name. And when he transforms you, don't stay quiet. Go, walk, jump, praise, dance like he did. And let your life be the kind of testimony that makes the world stop in an instance and say, only the living God could have done that. Only the living God could have done that. Dear Heavenly Father, we come to you today. We come to you today, Lord, in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus. Father, we just thank you for your word. We thank you for your word because it reminds us that we don't have to stay at the gate. We don't have to stay where we've been. Lord, we thank you for the word that shows us that even in our darkest hour, you are able to bring healing, restoration. You are able to bring new life. The resurrection power. Help us to understand that many of us have been sitting at the gate. Many of us have been sitting in limitation. Many of us have been sitting in places of pain. Many of us have been sitting in places of hope. Where we learn just how to survive, but not how to live, Lord. But today, Lord, just help us as we call on the name that brings us higher and closer to you, Lord. Lord, just help us shift our focus, take our eyes off our problems, off other people, off temporary solutions, and please help us fix our eyes on you, on Jesus, on the Lord of Salvation. Lord, I pray that every person listening right now, I pray for those who feel stuck, I pray you bring movement. For those who feel weak, I pray you bring strength. For those who feel broken, I pray you bring healing. For those who feel bound, I pray you bring freedom, Lord, in Jesus' name. We speak life into places that have no life. It's in Jesus' name we strengthen, we speak strength, Lord, where there is weakness. It's in Jesus' name we speak hope where hope is not because we know that we cannot do it on our own. We have to call on your name, Lord. So, Lord, right now we receive it in your name. It's in Jesus' holy, heavenly name. We pray. Amen. And hallelujah. Well, guys, I love you. And I hope you have a great week. And if you don't have a relationship with Christ, you better get right. This episode is sponsored in part by Treynaught.
