Opening Call To Get Right

So let's start the journey today and get right at trainine.com forward slash hashtag get right. Friday was pain. Saturday, silent. But Sunday, Sunday changes everything. Today we celebrate the moment that split history in two. Not just a good teacher remembered, not just a sacrifice honored, but a savior who walked out of the grave. Let's go to that very moment that everything shifted. You have your Bibles, you can turn to Matthew chapter 28, verses 5 and 6. The angel said to the woman, Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here. He has risen just as he said. Those three words change the world. He is risen. The stone wasn't rolled away so Jesus could get out. It was rolled away so we could see in. The tomb is empty. Death has been defeated. Hope is alive. And you see, hope, when it comes back to life, that's an amazing thing. I told you. The women came expecting to anoint a body. Instead, they encountered another miracle, the greatest miracle of all miracles. In Luke chapter twenty-four, verses six and seven, it says, He is not here, he has risen. Remember how he told you the Son of Man must be delivered over, be crucified, and on the third day be raised again. Guys, what felt like the end was exactly what Jesus said would happen. Think about a moment in your time, in your life, in your history, where everything just looked lost. Maybe it was a game that seemed over. Or a situation or a job that felt beyond repair. And then suddenly everything turned around. You see, that's resurrection. That's power of the living God. Except this just isn't, this isn't just any old comeback story. This is a complete reversal of death itself. It's the power of the resurrection. The resurrection isn't just proof, it's power. Romans chapter six, verse nine. For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again. Death no longer has mastery over him. Death doesn't win anymore. Sin does not have the final word. The grave doesn't get the last say here. First Corinthians 15, 55 through 57. Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting. But thanks be to God, He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. This is victory. This isn't partial. This isn't temporary. This is absolute, complete victory. You see, it's not about what just happened or what just happened. It's about what it means. It's not just another day. It's not just an Easter pagan holiday. It's about what happened to Jesus and what's now available to you in me. Romans chapter eight, verse eleven. And if the spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his spirit who lives in you. I mean, there are countless stories of people who were written off in this life. I've seen it. Addiction, failure, regret. I've seen people just tormented and trashed. But I have personal friends, and I'm sure everybody else does. But when they encounter Jesus and experience that complete transformation, just like I did, not because they tried harder, but because the resurrection power is absolutely one hundred percent facts, the truth, and it is very real. God doesn't just improve lives, He restores them. And the resurrection matters today, to this day, still to this day, because number one, you are forgiven. The cross paid it. And the resurrection proved it works. Romans 4, 25. He was delivered over to death for our sins and raised to life for our justification. Number two, you are not stuck. Whatever feels dead in your life is never beyond the great physician in the sky, God. Number three, you have a new life in Christ. Let me remind you that you have a new life in Christ. Second Corinthians chapter five, verse seventeen. There's that number again. Therefore, if anyone in Christ, the new creation has come. The old is gone, the new is here. Exclamation point. You see, it's the resurrection is not just an event to celebrate. It's not just a pagan Easter Sunday. It's an actual invitation to receive Christ. John chapter 11, verse 25, Jesus said, I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live even though they die. Guys, this is personal. Not just he is risen. But what does that mean for you and me? It means a new life is available right now. Imagine being locked in a dark room your whole life. No windows, no lights, thinking that's all there is. Like that's all you know. That's it. And then suddenly somebody swings a door open and a light suddenly floods in. You have no choice but to stay where you are or step into life. That is the resurrection. You can stay there where you were. Or you can step into life. So let's tie Good Friday all the way to Sunday. Let's tie it all together. You see, Friday, the price was paid in full. Remember? Stamped. Paid in full. Saturday come. Silence. Our faith tested. The silence tested our faith. Now Sunday. Sunday is here. And the victory is revealed. What looked like defeat, what felt like delay, was always leading to resurrection. So guys, if you've been living in a Friday or stuck in a Saturday, I want to tell you, I want you to hear this today. I want you to know. Sunday is here, the stone is rolled away, the grave is empty, and Christ is alive. Matthew twenty eight, verse eighteen. Then Jesus came to them and said, All authority in heaven on earth and on earth has been given to me. All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Dear Heavenly Father. That death is defeated. Thank you that hope is back alive. Dear Heavenly Father, I hope that everybody can celebrate this truth. I hope everybody can live in this truth. Hope everybody will bring life to places by letting Christ in. I pray that Christ would bring life to this nation, to this country, to this world. Anyone that feels empty, anyone that feels broken, anyone that feels lost, I pray that they know that Sunday is here and the battle has already been won. And I pray that they are reminded daily that you are alive and well and you live inside of us through the Holy Spirit.
