SPEAKER_01Hey guys, and thank you, Courtney, once again for that beautiful intro. It's the Food for Thaw FaithCast, and we want to welcome you, FaithCast fam, to the FaithCast. Well, guys, it's a uh beautiful day, and um it is Thursday, February 19th. I haven't done one in a couple days, but here we are. I had to uh take my test, my state exam for uh life insurance, and I passed it. And that's a good thing. So we're gonna get contracted next week, and I'll be selling life insurance. I'll be working out the house and uh visiting folks, and um it's gonna be a good thing, a new chapter in my life that God has given me. God helped me through the test. I have not taken any kind of test in over 35 years, and I was scared to death. I ain't gonna lie. It was uh it was not easy preparing for that, and um, until I actually did it and passed it, I was a basket case, and that's a good thing. But prayer is an amazing thing, and as long as you got God, you know, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. That's Philippians 4 13, and that's uh that's an amazing thing, guys. We're gonna talk about, I'm gonna share some things with you that I have found. I want to um read a couple things. Um, this is talking about giants and um just want to kind of we're gonna talk about giants and curses. So we'll call this one giants and curses. So um I want to read you this. Um, there was a giant in the Bible named Og, and um, he's in the Bible for some reason. You know, there are names in scripture that we tend to skip over. We we might read them quickly, assume they are historical footnotes, and just move on. But nothing is wasted in the word of God. Every name, every battle, every strange detail is there because the Holy Spirit wants it there. Does that make sense? So Og is one of those names, and um it's also in the Torah Torah. Um he's in there. He was not just another king, he was a giant, a remnant of something ancient, something intimidating, something that looked impossible to defeat back in those days. You remember the story of David and Goliath, right? Well, we'll get to that soon in our Man of God podcast, um, Bible study series. But let's look at what the Bible actually says in Deuteronomy 3.11. It says, For only Og king of Bashem, remained of the remnant of the giants. Indeed, his bedstead was an iron bedstead, nine cubits in length and four cubits in width, according to standard cubit. Once again, that's Deuteronomy 39 3.11, and that was reading from the New King James Version. So let's look at nine cubits. So if you look at that in feet, that's almost fourteen feet long. Fourteen feet. Where do we find people like that? Basketball, the Nephilim Football League, you know. But scripture makes a point to tell us the size of his bed. Why? Because um Og represented something massive, something that towered over normal men, and something that looked undefeatable. You see, Og was the king of Basham, a fortified region east of Jordan. He ruled over sixty cities. All of them had high walls, gates, and bars. And Deuteronomy 3.5 says, All these cities were fortified fortified with high walls, gates, and bars, besides a great many rural towns. That's Deuteronomy 3.5. Once again, we're reading out of the New King James Version today. So if you look at this picture, you see Israel is on the brink of promise. You see, they're about to step into what God said was theirs. And standing in their way is a giant king with fortified cities and a legacy of intimidation. Sound familiar? Look at today. Look at what they were trying to do. Look at the elite. Look at the 2%. Sound familiar? You see, every generation faces a giant. Every generation faces its og. You see, it's always something that feels bigger than us, something that we, you know, I've heard people say this a lot, more so in the first five years than the last five years. So if you take the last 10 years, the first five of the last 10 years, people will say, yeah, um, but ain't nothing gonna be done about it. We see, we see the corruption, but ain't nothing gonna be done about it. You see how that mentality is? Ain't nothing gonna be done about it. Well, now we got people researching, looking up Epstein files. You know, I had an epiphany, or I had I'm not gonna say an epiphany, but I had a revelation the other day. I called my son in here and I was like, you know, all this stuff's been done. I said, you look at 10 years ago, or just look at five years ago, the same people who said Epstein Isles and Epstein files and Epstein Islands and all that stuff was fake and a conspiracy theory are the same people begging for it today. So it's funny how the time the tides change. And um, my thing is, is I think it's already been done. I think it's up to the people. And when Trump said he is giving power back to the people, that means we are the news now. So we are responsible for putting the truth out. So we're they're gonna they're gonna move as fast as we move. If that makes sense. So I'm just putting everything in a modern perspective because for the for generations we've been under a veil of a giant. Not just one giant, but the whole concept of a giant. And that's that's what um this is talking about here. That's that's what I'm getting at. Every generation faces its og something that feels bigger than us, something that controls us, something that we feel like we cannot control. You can call them cultural giants, you can call them society giants, you can call them whatever. But the symbolism is unmatched. Political giants, financial giants, idea, ideological giants, systems that seem too entrenched to move strongholds because they look permanent. But guess what? Watch what God does. Watch what happens next. So in Deuteronomy 3.3, it says, So the Lord our God also delivered into our hands Og, king of Basham, with all his people, and we attacked him until he had no survivors remaining. You see, it does not say Israel figured out a clever strategy. It does not say that their strength was superior. You see, that's the point. Og represents the last stand of a dying beast system. The Bible calls him a remnant of the giants, a leftover from the previous error. He looked big, he looked intimidating, but he is not the future. He was not the future, he was only a remnant of the past. So if you look at today, you look at the truth, you look at the ritual sacrifices, these people worship the same entities or deities. I wouldn't even call them a deity, I would call them an entity because they have the ability to brainwash, and it's all biblical, and it's all historical, and it's nothing new under the sun. It's spiritual warfare. Trump calls it the silent war. We know that it's the spiritual war. You see, like I said, he was left over from a previous B system error, the same B system that controls us today. You see, a lot of the things that intimidate the church are remnants of the past because they're loud, intimidating, massive in appearance, but they're remnants nonetheless. You see this again when Moses recounts the victories, and when we do the man of God Bible study next on Moses, you'll see it. So Deuteronomy 2010 says, When you come near a city to fight against it, then proclaim an offer of peace to it. You see, God always offers redemption first. Even in judgment, there is no mercy. Even in confrontation, there is opportunity. There's opportunity for transformation. You see, Og was defeated, and his land became an inheritance. You see, in Deuteronomy 3.12 it says, and this land which we possessed at that time, I gave to the Reubenites and the Gadites. What once belonged to a giant became part of Israel's inheritance. You catch that? The territory of intimidation became the territory of promise. The place of fear became a place of blessing. You see, the stronghold became an inheritance. And if you notice, this is the pattern of our Almighty God. Because the very enemy, the very area, sorry, the very area where the enemy tries to intimidate you is often the very area God intends to give you authority. We saw it with David and Goliath. We see it now with Og. We see it throughout Scripture, the Bible tells you. Deuteronomy 24, verse 4, chapter 20, it says, For the Lord your God is he who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to save you. You see, Og matters because he reminds us that no matter how big, no matter how strong, no matter how intimidating giants may be, they can fall. They can fall. Not by might, not by strength, not by power, but because the God of this universe fights for his people. He fights for his people. Now look at, let's bring it to today. Look at the cultural giant, the one who confuses you. There's even cultural giants of compromise, corruption, intimidation. It's a beast system that looks fortified with high walls and iron gates. But you see, if they stand in the opposition of the God of the universe, the Almighty Creator, they're not permanent. They're just remnants. You see, we not we cannot be intimidated by the size of the bed of the giant. We cannot measure the promise by the size of opposition. No matter how big, how strong, how intimidating. We have to remember what Moses declared to Joshua. Deuteronomy 3 22. Do not fear them for the Lord your God himself fights for you. I'm gonna read that again. Do not fear them for the Lord your God himself fights for you. You see, the church will never advance by panic. The church will never advance by laying down to nefarious rulers. We cannot let them advance by fear, because fear is false, evidence appearing real. We have to advance through faith. By obedience. You see, OG failed because God already determined the outcome. And this is the redemptive part that I love. You see, the generation that first heard about giants at Kadesh Barnia ran in fear. They said, We are like grasshoppers in our own sight. They believed the intimidation. But you see, there was a new generation of warriors, men of God, that rose up and faced the giant, OG, and they won. You see, the difference was not the size of the giant, not the size of the intimidation. The difference was the perspective of the new generation. So, guys, if you see yourself like a grasshopper, every problem is going to look like a giant. If you see yourself as a covenant, then that giant will only look like a stepping stone. So you may be facing something that feels massive today: a financial situation, a ministry giant, a cultural battle, a health giant, a spiritual stronghold. That's spiritual warfare. So, guys, always remember that Og is in your Bible to tell you that the last giant standing is still no match for the covenant of the living God. His land became an inheritance of the living God. The territory of fear and intimidation became a testimony of the living God. And what the enemy is meant to use is a final stronghold, became a memorial of victory. You see, do not fear the giants of the world today. The beast system. They may be tall, they may be intimidating, it may look like they have iron beds and fortified cities. They may look entrenched, but you see they're all remnants. And to this day, God is still delivering giants into the hands of his people. Guys, let's go to the Lord in prayer. Dear Heavenly Father, we thank you, Lord. We just come to you today, Lord. We come to you. We thank you, Lord. We thank you for giving us the hope, the strength to face the giants of today, Lord. Lord, please be with us because they have a master degree in trickery. Give us knowledge, wisdom, and new eyes to see, Lord. Give us hope, strength as we face our giants of today, Lord. And if there's anybody out there that doesn't know you, Lord, we pray that they seek you. We pray that they ask that Jesus come into their heart. And we pray these things, guys. We pray them, God. In Jesus' heavenly, holy, divine name. Amen and hallelujah. Well, guys, thank you for tuning in to the Faith Cast today. Once again, I am B. Rob. I am your host.
