The Food for Thought Faithcast with Be Rob

Our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the powers of darkness.

Be Rob Season 4 Episode 26

The veil between spiritual and physical reality seems to be thinning. As headlines grow increasingly disturbing and social divisions deepen, many sense something more profound happening beneath the surface. What if these aren't just political conflicts or culture wars, but manifestations of an ancient spiritual battle?

In this thought-provoking episode, we examine current events through a spiritual lens, challenging the prevailing narratives that frame our troubles as merely political, racial, or ideological. Drawing from Ephesians 6:12, we explore how "our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil." This biblical wisdom provides a framework for understanding the tumultuous times we're experiencing.

The spiritual battle requires spiritual protection. We delve into the concept of the armor of God – the belt of truth, breastplate of righteousness, gospel of peace, shield of faith, helmet of salvation, and sword of the spirit – as essential equipment for navigating these challenging days. Rather than getting caught up in worldly distractions or responding with hatred toward those who appear as opponents, we're called to recognize the spiritual influences at work and respond with prayer, mercy, and love.

Time is running short to choose which side you'll stand on in this cosmic battle. Will you focus on heavenly things and put on your spiritual armor, or remain distracted by the surface-level conflicts of our time? Listen now and prepare yourself for what's coming. And don't forget to check out our spoken word rendition of the Armor of God passage available on all streaming platforms.

Speaker 1:

I've never done one of these before. I don't even know how to title it, but if you need a title, here it is. I'm going to tell you what's coming. That's it the title. I'm going to tell you what's coming. I'm going to tell you why these last few weeks have been very tumultuous. These last few weeks have been very tumultuous and they're increasing in frequency, to the point where we can't even keep track of them anymore.

Speaker 1:

I'm in a different position than most of you not all, but most and I look at things differently because of my situation. This is what is happening. This isn't politics. This isn't gender politics. This isn't political ideologies. This isn't a race war. This isn't a civil war. This is a battle of good and evil. We know that, we all know that. We know that in our soul. We can feel it, and it doesn't matter what side you're playing for. You can feel it too. That transgender monster that shot up those children who were praying that's not identity politics, that's Satan versus Jesus Christ of Nazareth. That beautiful, young blonde girl who moved here to escape the ravages of war Was knifed to death on a North Carolinian bus. I believe that's not a race war, that's Satan. This is good and evil. You can feel it and you know it, and it's time someone starts to just call it what it is. This is good versus evil. To watch Charlie Kirk, a Christian man One of the last of us who just wanted to talk about it Be executed. One of the last of us who just wanted to talk about it Be executed. Everyone wants to use the word assassinate. It's a cleaner word. He was executed.

Speaker 1:

If you watched that video, that is good versus evil. I watched people celebrate it. Celebrate it. Have you no spirit, have you no soul To dance on the grave of someone who opposes you? You will reap what you sow. In the next six to twelve weeks, things are going to get increasingly worse. I know this. You do too. You're going to have to pick a side. You're running out of time. You're running out of time. You're running out of time. Pick mercy, pick kindness, pick charity, pick love. And for those of you that think you're too far gone, remember the thief on the cross. He never got a chance to climb down and take communion, or go to confession, or unrape, un-murder, un-steal. He just said I believe my prayer for all of you is that you accept jesus as your lord and in the name of jesus of nazareth, I pray. Blessings on all of you that watch this Peace.

Hey guys, it's B-Rob, it's the Food for Thought Faithcast, and it's Monday, and it's a beautiful Monday. And that, my friends, was a clip from a random guy on X, and he is feeling a lot of what we are all feeling, what I've been feeling for the past 10 years Spiritual war. I mean, it's spiritual war and it's not flesh on flesh man. These people that are lashing out and acting like demons are basically possessed. They're not in their right mind. They were once human and they've been led astray. So we need to pray for them. And this brings me to Ephesians 6.12, which states For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. And that just explains that the real enemies are not people, but it's spiritual beings. Evil, it's a uh, it's come to the surface. What you could not see before in years and years and years, because you have been blinded, is the truth. And the truth is coming to the surface and there is a spiritual war going on, and there's always been a spiritual war going on, and the Bible been talking about it since the beginning of time. So, guys, it's time to put on the armor of God and if you have not, if you don't have it on, then you need to put it on.

Speaker 2:

I put out this song on Spotify, apple Music, youtube wherever you stream music, I put this song. It's more of a spoken word, but it's the spiritual warfare, the arm of God, the verses over music, and I want you guys to check that out right now. I mean, just like what Tom Stewart was saying in yesterday's podcast, it's the same message. These are just different people, different cries from different people and it's not a fleshly thing, guys. So if you see violence or you see that sort of thing, don't condone it. I mean this whole thing. Three days later, you got Zach Bryan trying to pick fights with this Gavin Adcock guy from Georgia and Zach Bryan's like huge and I don't know man, but he looked possessed, trying to climb the fence, drunk, and another thing. I think this is another distraction. And another thing. I think this is another distraction. You know a whole lot of distractions going on, no-transcript. Well, guys, anyway, I hope you have a great week. God bless you. I love you all. Here's my spoken word song Armor of God. I hope you enjoy it.

Speaker 2:

Finally, be strong in the Lord and his mighty power.

Speaker 2:

Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes, for our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of the dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Speaker 2:

Therefore, put on the full armor of God so that, when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground.

Speaker 2:

You may be able to stand your ground and, after you have done everything to stand, stand firm with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, which you can distinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take up the helmet of salvation and the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God, and pray in the spirit on all occasions, with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for the Lord's people. On praying for the Lord's people, pray also for me that, whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly as I should. Hallelujah, praise Jesus, put on the armor of God, amen.

Speaker 3:

Oh Lord, we fight for you. Of God, Amen, we fight for you. We fight for you Because, in truth, you're the only one. We fight for you. We fight for truth Because the truth is you're the only one. We fight for you. We fight for truth Because the truth is. You're the only one. You're the only one.

Speaker 2:

Well, guys, there you have it, the armor of God. Make sure you're wearing it, make sure you use it, make sure you do not get distracted by these fleshly worldly distractions. Keep your mind focused on heavenly things, and may God bless you as you walk through this week with Jesus. I love you, guys. Hopefully you'll tune in tomorrow for tomorrow's podcast.
